The lodge is located on the border of the exclusive Siana Conservancy and the Masai Mara National Reserve. The lodge is family owned and run by Justin McCarthy. Uniquely for the area the lodge is a permanent building, we are not a tented camp and are therefore able to offer the luxury associated with a traditional y built lodge.
The Siana Conservancy
The Siana Conservancy is a fully formed wildlife conservancy, aiming to preserve the surrounding wildlife and the culture of the Masai in an area of 35.000 acres.
Spirit of the Masai Mara and other lodges within the area work hand in hand with the Masai landowners of the Nkoilali community.
Our location offers our visitors fantastic game viewing opportunities within the private Siana Conservancy and immediate access to the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve, home of the annual great wildebeest migration. Our private waterhole and saltlick allow our guests to view the stunning variety of game.
Our 10 luxury air conditioned suites provide a contemporary and spacious ambience, uniquely blending traditional materials and modern designs. Every suite has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, offering you a stunning view into the valley and the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Each suite enjoys its own private veranda overlooking our private waterhole, allowing you to observe the animals from the comfort of your own room. Our suites comprise a large lounge area with a private bar and a spacious bedroom and beautiful bathroom with tub and shower. All suites have permanent hot running water.

Our suites can be configured for either double or twin occupancy. In addition, a third or fourth bed can be added in the lounge area for children beneath the age of twelve years.
